Heute morgen haben Joey und ich Heike und ihre Tocjter Josie besucht. Josie kam am 5.Okt 2006 zur Welt und Joey am 2. Okt. 2007. Sie heissen beide Josephine.
This morning we went to see Heike and Josie. Josie was born on Oct. 5th 2006 and Joey on Oct. 2nd 2008. Josie's full first name is Josephine too!

Wieder zu Hause angekommen wartete ein verspaetetes Geburtstagsgeschenk auf Joey.

Back at home Joey got a belated birthday gift.

Oh and here is Jeff baking brownies! They were delicious! Good job, Dude!

Nun habe ich doch endlich mal etwas Zeit, den Blog zu aktualisieren. Irgendwie komme ich zur Zeit nicht regelmaessig dazu. Jeff hatte letzte Woche ein Konzert mit dem Soloposaunisten der New Yorker Philharmoniker , Joe Alessi, im Omaher Konzertsaal. Da das Konzert erst abends statt fand, kamen Joey und ich zur Probe. Joey fands Klasse und das obwohl da gar keine Streicher dabei waren ( !! :-( !!!)

I actually have some time to update the blog!!!!!! Somehow I just don't get to it regularly.

Last week, Jeff had a concert with Joe Alessi, the principal trombone player of the New York Philharmonic in downtown Omaha. Joey and I came to the dress rehearsal since the concert took place in the evening. Joey liked ( although there were no strings involved!!! ;-( !!!!!!) )

Hier sind ein paar Fotos und Videos von den letzten Tagen. Wir waren bei Costco einkaufen, haben draussen gespielt ( Joey hat Emma's alten Wasserflaschenhalter gefunden und benutzt ihn als Nachziehspielzeug) und Joey hatte ihre erste Geigenstunde. Viel Spass!

Here are some pictures from the last days. We went to Costco, played outside ( Joey found Emma's old water bottle holder and uses it as a pull toy) and Joey had her first violin lesson. EnJoey!!

Heute Abend waren wir mit unseren Nachbarn in einem Gartencenter, in dem sie eine "Halloween-Nacht" hatten. Alles war dunkel und mit gruseligen Gestalten dekoriert. Fuer Erwachsene ziemlich langweilig aber die Kinder fanden es Klasse, da es Suessigkeiten umsonst gab.
This evening we went to a garden center close by. They had a Halloween night with free candies and scary puppets sitting between the plants. It was a little boring but the kids loved it.

Diese Fotos sind von Joey's Geburtstagsfeier. Das Wetter war zwar schoen warm aber wegen des Windes mussten wir die Feier in die Garage verlegen. Joey war bestens gelaunt und so konnten wir alle die Party geniessen.
Those pictures are from Joey's birthday party. The weather was actually pretty warm but because of the wind we had to move into the garage.
Joey was in a good mood and we all enjoyed the party a lot.

Heute war Joey's Geburtstag. Morgends haben wir uns mit Luisa und Julia auf einem Spielplatz getroffen und Nachmittags ging es ans Geschenke auspacken. Grandma and Grandpa waren ueber die Webcam auch dabei.
Today we celebrated Joey's birthday. In the morning we met Luisa and Julia at a park and after Jeff got home from work it was time to open the presents. Grandma and Grandpa joined us through the web cam.
