Gestern waren wir im Zoo. Yesterday we went to the zoo.

Vorgestern waren wir Minigolf spielen. Die Doktoren gegen die Musiker. "Leider" mussten sich die Musiker geschlagen geben. Sie hoffen aber auf eine Revanche. Wir werden Euch auf dem Laufenden halten ;-). We went miniature golfing the other day. The doctors played the musicians. " "Unfortunately" the doctors won. The musicians are hoping for a rematch.

Am Sonntag sind wir nach Auburn, ein kleines Staedtchen etwa eine Stunde suedlich von Omaha, gefahren, da Jeff dort ein Konzert hatte. Der Ort hat ungefaehr 3300 Einwohner und ist typisch amerikanisch. Das Konzert hat erst um 7 Uhr angefangen aber Joey hat ganz gut durchgehalten.
Sunday we went to Auburn, a small town about 1 hour south of Omaha. Jeff had a concert there.
In the town live about 3300 people and is a typical small town. The concert started at 7 pm but Joey did a good job staying up that late.

Meine Schwester und ihr Freund sind zu Besuch da. Heute morgen waren wir "downtown" und haben dort auch zu Mittag gegessen.
My sister and her boyfriend are visiting. This morning we went downtown and ate lunch there too.

Letzten Sonntag waren wir auf der Base, da dort Flugtag war.
Das Flugzeug auf dem letzten Bild ist das schnellste auf der Welt und kann vom Radar auch nicht erkannt werden ;-).
Seit ein paar Tagen kann Joey fuer einige Zeit ganz alleine stehen. Bin mal gespannt, wann sie ihren ersten Schritt macht.
Last sunday we went to the base to see the air show. The plane on the last picture is the fastet in the world.
Since a few days Joey can stand on her own for quite some time without holding on to something. I'm curious to see her first step.

Heute abend waren wir bei unseren Freunden Scott und Stefanie zum Essen eingeladen. Sie haben eine Tochter, Morgan, die 6 Monate aelter als Joey ist. Die zwei hatten viel Spass, sich gegenseitig durch die Wohnung zu schieben ( siehe Videos).
Tonight we went to have supper (or dinner for all you city folks) with our friends Scott and Stefanie. They have a daughter, Morgan, who is 6 months older than Joey. The two loved to take turns to push each other around.

Nachdem wir heute morgen Joggen waren, mussten Joey und ich uns erstman davon erholen. Daher fuhren wir nach ihrem Mittagsschlaf ins Schwimmbad. Ausser uns war am Anfang keiner da und da wir nur im Babybecken waren, mussten wir noch nicht mal Eintritt bezahlen. ( Base pool). Das Wasser war ,fand ich, richtig kalt aber Joey war das egal. Ich konnte sie nur unter Geschrei aus dem Becken wieder rausholen.

After we all went for a run this morning, Joey and I decided that we needed to relax somewhere. Therefore we went to the base pool after her afternoon nap. At the beginning we were the only once there and since we only stayed at the baby pool we didn't even have to pay for it.

The water was really cold but Joey didn't care. I had a hard time getting out of the pool when we had to leave.
